WiFi-enabled (Wireless Fidelity Standard, IEEE 802.11b/g) network access is provided throughout the conference location.
Your client needs to support WPA for WiFi access, which is used for authentication and encryption of WiFi traffic. Please follow these steps to connect your computer to the wireless network:
- Make sure that your computer does not automatically connect to ad-hoc networks, but only to infrastructure networks (this is by default true for Windows 7 clients).
- Let your WiFi client connect to the MMM2012 wireless network*. IP address and network information will be assigned automatically by DHCP. Note that the SSID is broadcasted and it is not necessary to enter this information manually.
- You will need to enter a security key, which will be provided on site.

If you run into problems accessing the provided network infrastructure with your notebook, please contact our technical support staff at the registration desk.
Expect that the actions taken by the support staff will require administrator rights on your notebook.
